Palm and Cycad Sale & Palm Lectures

Every fourth year the PSSC coordinates a Meeting with the Annual Palm and Cycad Sale at Quail Gardens in Encinitas, CA. This event
is hosted both by our Society and the Gardens. Some of the best palm & cycad nurseries from around southern California will be there to offer you rare and unusual species for sale. The sale will be held in the parking lot at the entrance to the botanical garden. There is a parking fee to enter Quail. The Sale begins at 9:00 AM and continues
until about 4:00 PM. Noted palm authority and author, Don Hodel, will be giving a fantastic presentation on the Palms of New Caledonia. Following this, Don will present recent information on research he's done on palm horticulture. Both presentations will be something you don't want to miss. We will also have a "special" auction and palm raffle following the speaker. This meeting will not be a pot luck, so bring a bag lunch or something to eat if you wish.
