Robert and Sarah Bunkall’s Oceanfront Garden
2421 S. Coast Highway
Laguna Beach, CA

Our next meeting is sure to be a delight for any palm enthusiast that appreciates large rare palms along a pristine coastline. On November 19th, the Palm Society of Southern California
will gather for its final 2005 meeting at Robert and Sarah Bunkall’s oceanfront garden in Laguna Beach. The last time the Bunkall’s hosted a PSSC meeting was approximately 15 years ago so you can imagine how much their palms have grown and matured over the years. Their garden has many large specimens and bringing a camera is recommended.
As an added feature to our auctions, we will also offer a silent auction for some other rare palms. This should be a treat for those palm enthusiasts looking for difficult to find species. This meeting is sure to be a highlight for our 2005 meetings!
The Bunkall’s have a special request for those that attend this meeting. Some of their palms are not identified so everyone will have a chance to identify each palm. Signs with

pens will be posted at each palm where the Bunkall’s are requesting your input so come prepared to identify some palm trees!
Bob and Sarah Bunkall will graciously open their garden for members of the PSSC at 11:00 a.m. and provide home-made baked beans and beverages. Please contribute to the potluck by bringing a food item. Please use the following guide to determine what to bring to the potluck. If your last name begins with a letter from: A-H, please bring a side dish; I-P, please bring a main dish; Q-Z, please bring a dessert.
