Bud and Jo Zagar’s garden:
While their garden is fairly new, they have many very interesting palms, such as: Euterpe edulis, Veitchia joannis, Licuala elegans, Pinanga coronata, many species of Chamaedorea, Ceroxylon alpinum, Pritchardia lowreyana, Dypsis lanceolata,Dypsis mayotte, Dypsis tsarantananensis, Rhapis 'Alicia', Dictyosperma album, Hyophorbe verschaffeltii, etc. Many flowering and other tropicals are growing between the palms, making the garden absolutely delightful. At the meeting, we will see how they did through the freeze last January. They were growing well two years ago when most of these pictures were taken.

Peralta Hills Dr., then left onto South Lakeview Ave., take 91 Freeway West toward LA, merge onto 57 Freeway North toward Pomona, get off on Imperial HWY turn left toward Brea, turn left onto South Puente St., turn right onto East Las Palmas Dr., go to Bud and Jo’s home at 706 East Las Palmas Drive, Fullerton 92835, phone 714 870-0114.
